It's a good little camera but a bit too much fish eye for me....
Great little camera for a great price. Pretty good picture quality at night too.
**4/13/15 update from 3 stars to 4 stars due to the customer service. This company really means it when they say they want to make this right. They emailed me promptly and try to offer multiple alternatives including offering the upgraded camera. In the end since I didn't want to install any new things, they ended up issuing me a complete refund! I'm definitely buying from them again if a need arises in the future since they really do back up their products and more importantly, their customer service satisfaction.

Awesome backup camera in the day, quality and clarity is amazing. As soon as it gets dark, the graininess comes out. Still better than the other cameras I've seen stock in cars. Make sure you have good lighting at night to get a better picture. Changing my license plate lights to LED made a huge difference.
very good angle. true 170 degrees unlike some others.
Great camera resolution is better than expected easy install definitely worth the money
I had a different camera set up on my jeep before I installed the Esky camera. The design of this camera was similar to what I had before so it made it easier to install. I was a little concerned at first because it was so much smaller than what I had before but that was not a problem. Even though it is small it produces a nice clear picture even in the dark. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone wanting to add a backup camera to their automobile.
This is an edited review, after submitting the first one, I couldn't give up trying to make it work. So, after being frustrated, I decided to figure out why things weren't working, so I hooked it up to my tv and started fooling around. I built some leads with some spare wire, hooked it up to a nine volt and an image popped up on my tv. Baffled, I went back out to the truck and started to mess around some more, but got nothing on the screen. Curious, I decided to remove the head unit again and I was chagrined to find the RCA cable had been pulled out of the unit. I replugged it and tried again to get an image on the screen.
I rewired the whole thing again and remounted the cam where it was and its now good to go. By the time I finished I'd expended all my daylight and the biggest problem I had was getting the image level. The unit needs a mark on it to let the user know that its oriented in the right direction to get a level image on the screen. I had a neighbor stand in the back as a good visual reference and once it was oriented I tightened it up and yeah. After getting the wires ran and zip-tied to the bottom, I hit the junctions with some silicone goop to protect them from exposure, Southeast Alaska is very wet and dirty on the roads. I also hit the cam on the back and around the screw cap as well, figured it was better than just leaving it go. Hopefully it will also prevent it from rotating on the mounting bracket as well.
The reason for the 4 star rating is the lack of orienting mark and super thin wire on the lead you wire into the reverse light. I had to use my teeth to strip it, as my wire tool was too big at the smallest setting. I hope this lasts and works for the summer, its going to make hooking up the boat trailer easier if it does.
Cannot beat the price if it lasts for a while. No guidance is exactly what I needed for left and right side views.
Great item. Have used the same model previously.
Decent video quality for the price, has really good night vision for what it is. Dont expect to get plate numbers.
