It lasted less than a year.
I am upping my rating from 3 to 4 stars because of the seller. I didnt leave my initial review below to get anything out of it I was just trying to inform people they might want to run separate power to the radio to detect when in reverse because the power you can run off the same video cable didnt work right. The seller took it upon themselves to send me another camera without me requesting or wanting any type of compensation.
Camera 3 stars
Seller 5 stars
Final rating 4 stars.

Installation you might as well run the power cable from your taillight where camera power is to your radio. Dont use the attached power on video cable as it does not work well
very good

I was not aware of having to purchase additional accessories for this to be wireless I assumed everything would be included
Installed this on my 2000 Dodge Dakota so I could see when I'm backing into a parking spot so I didn't hit anything. I installed this using the Masione single din video receiver.
Installation:
The installation was actually pretty easy. The video cord that came with it was more than long enough to extend the length of the truck. The video cable plugged right into the back of the receiver and worked instantly.
Video Quality:
The video quality was just ok. It didn't seem to adjust well for bright light (i.e. if I was backing up towards the sun, or towards a lamp post at night). Night vision was okay in decently lit areas. It seemed that neutral daylight or overcast days provided the best picture.
Durability:
Overall the camera held up pretty well. I live in an area with a lot of rain, and did not experience any condensation inside the lens area.
Nice camera. Very happy so far. Be aware though that your _actual_ field of view is closer to 120 degrees. Still handy for backing into traffic, but nowhere near 180 degrees. I posted a couple of photos. One shows a yardstick on the pavement outlining the field of view limit of this camera relative to its installation in the center of the plate on the car to the right.
Perfect camera during night
