I love it. good seller.
Worked right out of the box. Sharp and clear picture. That's really saying a lot for something this cheap.
The installation of this camera went well and works great. I am still playing with some of the programmable features, it is a little challenging to determine which of the 6 modes you are in. Clarity of the camera is great. I used the wireless transmitters to have to minimize running the wire the entire length of the vehicle. They worked great and very affordable. No problems with camera, highly recommend this product. Bracket does cover upper part of license plate registration sticker which hopefully wont be a problem.
Solidly built, with adjustable vertical angle with two small set screws. Clear image, even with wireless transmitter (bought separately) and at night. Instructions are very brief and poorly written so ask questions here on this product's page. View is more like 150 degrees but plenty wide enough. LEDs are not too blinding (to the driver behind you) to leave the camera on all the time (wired into the license plate lamp). Width fits CA license plates fine, but covers parts of the registration stickers. You may wish to cut off the excess ends. The control button is (so I read here) in the black plastic cube molded on the wiring, which I have closed up inside the back hatch, no longer easy to get to. I suggest you leave this out where you can get to it after installation, for adjusting the grid lines, etc.
I might give this 5 stars if it were a kit with good instructions and everything included (screen, transceiver, and camera).
Work good but I wish I would of got a back up camera that was 170° or 135°. The 180° is very wide and I think the 170 might be a better viewing option.
Awesome!! Very clear picture, beyond my expectations.
This camera is very clear and reliable.
Installation difficulty varies by vehicle, but very straightforward. I installed this on a Honda 2010 CR-V. Tapped into the Green with Black strip right at the tail light to power the camera. Then under the driver side door threshold kickplate there is a bundle of wires the solid brown wire is the reverse-signal wire for activating the head unit. You can test wires very easily with a needle and a multi-meter. Stick the needle into the wire and the positive lead of the multi-meter to the needle. Ground the negative lead of the multi-meter and check the voltage. It should read 12.4 volts when hot. The correct wire reads voltage only when the car is shifted into reverse. The camera is easily adjustable and shows a great picture day or night. For the price, you can't go wrong!
Has worked well as advertised, though I wish I could turn of the LEDs with camera on.
No problems with operation a month into use. The one thing that you might want to know is that because this unit has LEDs on it, you can't leave it powered up all the time. The LEDs are so bright, they make it impossible to see the license plate at night. That would get you a ticket in this state. The reason I wanted to power the camera all the time is so that I can look behind me (my dash unit allows this by accessing the camera when you are not in reverse). Instead I powered it from the backup lights, so it only works in reverse. Powerup time is not an issue. Picture is clear, and the straight distance lines give some indication of depth. Overall its a good unit
