Great picture quality! I would give it five stars but the camera is tilted slightly sideways when the mount is level. Not sure if that can be adjusted, but will revise review if I can fix it. To be clarify, it's only off be a little bit and I plan to by another for my wife's car.

This is a good camera with a relatively clear image. Installation was too hard for me to do myself, so I opted for a professional install - which was twice as expensive as the camera itself! It required making a LARGE hole in the trunk to pass the wires that had to be filled with putty later. The wires were long enough to reach the front in my very small car, but had to take apart a bunch if stuff and close it back. Not for the faint of heart. Attached it to a Pioneer NEX device which had the proper input to simply plug and connect to the reverse signal. I found out too late that the NEX also has a parking line overlay which is miles better and can be adjusted right from the device, and can reverse the image automatically also. If you have an intelligent display, don't change the setting from the camera.

The bad parts:
To change the settings (reverse image, parking lines, etc.) you have to press a button that is very close to the camera, which HAS to be hidden inside the trunk, so no easy access. I want to take off the parking lines, but would require me to take apart my trunk lining,
It's a relatively big bar that partially hides the top of the license plate. I'm worried I can be pulled over.

love the camera and the picture. just have a little problem with the adjustments of the picture. The instructions are a little vague.

Great camera.  Super clear imagery.  Only issue I have is the led ir bulbs are not recessed back enough.  when the camera is on you can see too much light on either side of the lens.

Good unit & video looks great even at night time.

However, 2 minor things to lose a star.
1. Power wire should be a lot longer...  They give you enough video wire (but could be longer) to just fit with about 1 feet leftover in TC.  bigger cars will have issue I think.  Power wire however is super short.  only 3 ft? I think?  I think something around 12ft is given for any car wiring.  Use spare wires if you have it or make a run to get some before you install.

2. When tightening unit to license plate, middle part where joint is start to have gap.  So I had to semi-tighten and considering putting glue so it doesn't fall apart....  I think they may have made middle part too fat in the back and it's being pushed against the back panel when being tighten.

Overall good unit however, get it!

great camera, clear picture if you run it direct. biggest drawback is it covers the tags at the top of the plate.
