This device worked great. Love it. The view area was really big 180 deg as mentioned. I waited until I washed the car or it rained, just to see if water would get into the lens and distort vision.  It was still clear. I am definitely getting two more. Great purchase.

2002 Silverado 2500HD.  I was updating my stereo to the Kenwood DDX6702S and wanted to add a back-up camera to my truck.  Mainly for when I pull my trailer, it is always a 2 man job to line up he hitch to my ball.  This camera ROCKS!  I did a test first in my shop in daylight and dark (Night) mode and the two LED's sign very bright giving me great detail and video day or night.  I debated to spend $200 on a vehicle specific camera that mounted as part of the rear tailgate latch but couldn't justify the cost as well as an inferior camera.  This camera for $30 dollars is a hit.  Clear and great picture.  I really like the fact that it rotates up and down manually so I can set it at an angle giving me a better view when I am hooking up my trailer.  I do a lot of work for my friends in my shop.  Hobby but I have a 4 post and 2 post lift which tells you how serious I am about my shop.  This will be my go to camera for friends.  I have already shown a couple of them this camera and they have ordered one to have me install this weekend.  You won't be disappointed with this camera..

Seems to be close to 180 degrees unlike other cameras. Good for backing out of parking spots while shopping.

Update: It's been a year and this thing still works great. I put silicon around the lens to keep water out and I haven't had any problems.

Nice looking camera. Installed it at the top of my license plate. Love the 180 degree view. I had a prior one which wasn't this much wide angle.

One downside is that it covers half of the name of the state at the top of the plate, unless you get creative with the screws. That's why giving it 4 stars.

This camera rarely works!!  They fixed the issue without any problems. Great Customer Service!!!

PROS/CONS:
The light always stays on, so unless you love that little light on in front/behind of your car I don't recommend it.

PROS:
1) In the back it's more useful because it helps to illuminate areas that aren't already illuminated.
2) The design is very sturdy and it has a nice aluminum body.
3) The video quality is good.

CONS:
1) In the front, the light doesn't help very much unless the camera is pointed at the ground and even then it's not more effective at illuminating the road than your car headlights.
2) It is very heavy. Make sure it is screwed in tight to avoid any problems. In most cases, I recommend getting a long screw altogether to make sure that you have an ample amount of thread to keep it from getting loose.

So much better than the other camera I had - it lasted over a year, but never looked nearly as good as this one.  The picture is clear as can be, nighttime looks good and I"m a happy customer!

Works great ..I have a  pioneer  Head unit and it says objects and Camera  are reversed  i'm not sure what button they are talking about to possibly reverse this  it is super hard backing up to my trailer now  Does anybody have any advice
