This camera is awesome. I installed it myself on the front license plate and it works great. The picture quality is great. Even at night. Waterproof too. We got snow and rain and the camera picture is still great no problems. I'll recommend it. In fact I bought another for my wife's car

It does have a 180 view. It is a litle like look into a fish bowl but it does show me what is on the side of care. Others only show dirextly behind you.

this is to edit a former review. I've upped it to 4 stars up from 1.Nice clear picture and really bright at night. Thousandshores did their best to send me a replacement for the old one that worked for a little while but this one is working nicely and bright. Kudos to Thousandshores for the excellent customer service.
easy install works well
Actually a wide angle camera. Had ordered other cameras who were supposed to be 170 -180 degree but were actually only 120 degree. This is actually a 180 degree camera.
