I purchased this a year and a half ago and it still works great. It was installed by BestBuy after I cut off the stand and any extra plastic on the back of it so I could attach it to my windshield with a phone holding mount. Bestbuy wired it up beautifully by hard wiring it, meaning the colored plug in wire connections became one solid black wire. Love it.
great deal

Does what it is supposed to, no trouble
I had a $20 gift card for Amazon so after using the card, I only paid about $10. I hard wired everything instead of using the wireless receivers. It didn't take more than 45 min to do. I installed it on my 3/4 F250 crew cab long box that we hook up to trailers a lot. It takes all the guess work out of hooking up to the trailer. In addition, when parking in town with parking lots I don't worry about my wife or I backing into anything I don't want to. For less than $50, it's a great camera and screen that I permanently installed under my dash. Well worth the money and time. And my kids get a kick out of watching the back up display with the lines in it. I used the Peak back up camera set up on my other truck. It didn't take long for moisture to set in to the camera and night viewing went down the tubes.
Bought it to use with a single board computer ( C.H.I.P. ) that has composite output. It works great, though small, and is clearer than a 7" Haier TV, also with composite. Text is legible, color good. There is a little noise banding but that is due to the power supply I am using. For $20, it is a great and portable addition to the less than credit card sized computer.
Nice little display. I use it to display Flickr pictures using the Next Thing Co. $9 CHIP computer.
Great little monitor, especially for the price... Now let's see how long it lasts...
I made the mistake of procrastinating on installing it. The LCD shows horrible color distortion, almost as if the color channels were miswired. This showed first w/ the esky camera, and was confirmed using a dvd player. If you buy it, test it within the return period! (But note, that this requires some wiring work, so it's not especially easy to test it on the side. If you test it w/ a 12V auto battery directly, be sure you don't accidentally short anything and start a fire!)

After posting this review, I heard back from customer service and they promptly sent me a replacement, which works well. This, despite ordering the original one 11 months ago. So I can attest that "hisgadget inc" stands by their product, but I recommend testing it promptly after you receive your order.
