Works. Agree that there should be some way to store the cables. A pouch would be nice.

This device has 2 ways to charge during emergencies when electricity is not available. It can be charged by the hand crank on the side or the solar panel on the top. It can also be charged by other means like USB wall charger and USB cord from your computer. I was even able to charge this device from the USB outlet in my truck. The 50 lumen LED light is very bright. I was able to run the light for 15 hours on a fully charged device. The radio works well and picks up AM/FM and also the NOAA weather stations. Tuning in the stations is easy and they come in relatively clear. The antenna is a little over 9 inches long and lets down and folds compactly on top on the unit. The 2 charging ports are on the back of the device and they are covered by a rubber flap that protects them from the weather. The device is made from a sturdy plastic with almost a rubbery feel to it. Light moisture and rain will shed off the device although it is not designed to be completely waterproof. It can be carried by a handy lanyard cord that is attached to the back. It is light and compact at only 7.7 ounces and the dimensions are Length 5" X Height 2 3/8" X Thickness 1 3/8". It can easily be carried in the pocket and does not take up much space if packed in an emergency bug bag out or hiking backpack.. One of the best features about this device is that is will charge cell phones. I was able to put enough charge on an apple iPhone and an LG smart phone to make calls with. For all the features wrapped up in this emergency device, one cannot go wrong by purchasing it especially at the affordable price. It would be money well invested during an emergency or when camping, hiking or boating where there is no power.
This is one of my favorite emergency chargers that I have owned. We usually go with the cheaper brands and are disappointed upon receipt but we took a gamble with this product and I am so glad we did.
The whole charger feels quality and doesn't feel cheap in the slightest, it definitely feels it could take a beating. The radio itself is actually really clear, though I don't listen to it much, it's a nice feature to have. The light, wow. It's so bright and consumes very little power. I was using it for at least an hour and saw no drop in performance. It's definitely nice to have an alternate to charging off the power grid and this radio not only has one alternate, but two. The hand crank and the solar power. Granted the hand crank takes a little effort but it's nice to have in emergencies. I usually keep it charging on the windowsill.
This emergency radio/light is one of the best you can get for cheap. It's a quality design with decent feature. I fully recommend to adventurers and home owners.

This little powerhouse does everything it's asked of. It was able to provide charge to my galaxy s5 phone, played AM/FM radio, has a light, and performed just how I would have expected. Has the ability to charge via hand crank and micro USB, as well as solar! Will suit you well during the apocalypse, or just a small power outage.
The Emergency Radio is a very nice. It is great for an emergency, because it has a hand crank which allows it to charge your phone, use the radio, and use the flashlight. The quality of this product is great and the design is user-friendly and easy to use. You can also charge it using a micro-usb and the solar panel. I would highly recommend this product for you emergency kit.
