Nice Multi function light, charger and emergency radio. This is not your typical crank radio. Not only does it have useful tools for emergency, its sleek and small design allow you to carry it in your hand like a flashlight or put in a purse.
This gadget has special features including a power-out with USB plug/micro USB plug and includes cords which allow you to charge your cell phone from its internal battery. The battery can be charged via micro USB from any USB charger or power source, solar panel on the top of the device, or by a hand-cranked generator. It has an emergency flashlight with ample lighting, an AM/FM radio, and Weather Band. In spite of it small speaker, the radio provides clear reception. However, don't expect an stereo sound coming from the speaker but, is accurate for what this device is attended for.
This crank radio has many survival features as it’s built to withstand harsher conditions. Having recently been biking with my battery low on my cell phone I was able to charged my phone with this device. However, don't expect this device to quick charge your Nexus 6 or Samsung S6 phone.
Overall, if you just need a radio to keep you informed or a convenient source of light, it'll get the job done. I haven't try using the solar to charged the device yet. Since it came fully functional. The light are pretty bright and the radio reception are pretty good. I will updated this post after the battery runs out and try charging this device with solar.

I actually really love this. I am deducting one star for reasons I'll explain in a bit. All of the other reviews are dead on. It's small, not much bigger than a larger cellphone really, and it's light. It also feels sturdy. The radio gets good reception, and as one person pointed out, the inclusion of weather band is nice. Designers were definitely thinking about potentially stranded people. Of course the sound quality is not great from a tiny mono speaker, but it's not supposed to be, and I actually think it's kind of charming in an 80's movie/stranded in the woods kind of way:). The flashlight is good. Not SUPER bright, but bright enough for emergencies and roadside stuff. The solar charging works great, and the hand crank option is the main selling point for me. You get good flashlight and radio time with just a few minutes of cranking, and is more than enough to juice up your iPhone for an emergency call. In addition to solar and hand crank, you can also of course charge the box through micro USB. My only complaint (hence only 4 stars), is a design issue/flaw. There is a micro USB input for charging the device, and then above that a 3.5mm audio style jack for providing power output for a cellphone. There is an included cable, which in turn attaches to a USB adapter, and THEN you plug your phone cable into that. It's clunky, and the possibility of losing this cable and the adapter are high. There should have just put a regular USB output in the same spot (like most other portable chargers). It might heave resulted in the box being slightly larger, but I wouldn't have cared. That way the only cable you would need is the one you carry around with you anyway (or keep in your car). If they'd done this it would easily be 5 stars!
This emergency hand crank radio\flashlight\portable charger is super ccoo. It works really well and is easy to operate. I highly recommend this product.
It was smaller than I expected but after thinking about it, I do like it because I can carry it in my purse or backpack. It has a good loud sound and I like the fact that I don't have to depend on batteries. It will certainly be good for emergencies.

This is a must have for just about everyone - I live in a wooded area and we loose power all too often. I have several flashlights - all of them seem to loose their battery juice just when I need them. I was so sick and tired of this happening I decided to try this out - This is a multi-purpose device that charges for use in 3 distinct ways, it has a usb connector, it has a solar panel and a hand crank - I am especially enamored with the hand crank as most of the time I need this when the sun is down. It has already come in handy - The radio is good and powerful enough to draw in several distant stations, and in an emergency could prove very important to stay up with events as they occur. I only had to crank it a few times (very easy by the way) and it came to life for quite a while. It is small but has everything you need to feel safe in a power out emergency situation. It is solidly made and very reasonably priced. I should also mention that this company is fantastic - their customer service is very responsive and helpful. You can buy with confidence.

As a Firefighter/EMT who responds on many late night calls, to many disasters, and most people's worst day, I can tell you right now this flashlight/radio/charger combo is not just great for us, it is great for the general public, on our end it is a great flashlight and power bank...
On a citizen end talk about something you NEED to have during an emergency! POWER POWER POWER and weather band radio? This can not be beat. Hands down, would buy again.
It's tiring to crank it but if one needs a longer last-time for the power, it has to be done. The solar cells don't work though.
