Nice Multi function light, charger and emergency radio. This is not your typical crank radio. Not only does it have useful tools for emergency, its sleek and small design allow you to carry it in your hand like a flashlight or put in a purse.
This gadget has special features including a power-out with USB plug/micro USB plug and includes cords which allow you to charge your cell phone from its internal battery. The battery can be charged via micro USB from any USB charger or power source, solar panel on the top of the device, or by a hand-cranked generator. It has an emergency flashlight with ample lighting, an AM/FM radio, and Weather Band. In spite of it small speaker, the radio provides clear reception. However, don't expect an stereo sound coming from the speaker but, is accurate for what this device is attended for.
This crank radio has many survival features as it’s built to withstand harsher conditions. Having recently been biking with my battery low on my cell phone I was able to charged my phone with this device. However, don't expect this device to quick charge your Nexus 6 or Samsung S6 phone.
Overall, if you just need a radio to keep you informed or a convenient source of light, it'll get the job done. I haven't try using the solar to charged the device yet. Since it came fully functional. The light are pretty bright and the radio reception are pretty good. I will updated this post after the battery runs out and try charging this device with solar.
.
This is perfect for the emergencies. Has 3 bands (AM,FM and WB), comes with a built in flash light which is plenty bright. Has a crank handle to recharge when there is no power outlet and when it's dark. Will automatically charge when in sunlight using the built in solar panel.
Note: There is a mistake in the user manual regarding the cable for charging the radio. It comes with a mini USB and not a micro USB. You can use this cable to directly charge the radio. The provided female USB cable combo can be used to charge your devices in emergencies. Note that this will not charge for example your iphone at peak Amps which is okay as this is supposed to just in case device.
The signal to the radio was clear and has plenty of reception power. One of the plus is the rubberized texture which increases the ability to grip without dropping.
Disclaimer: The manufacturer provided this at a promotional price for product testing and this review is my own unbiased opinion during the process.

Great little radio at a very affordable price. This product is thoughtfully conceived to provide you all the available incoming information (AM/FM and weather broadcasts) during an emergency and can even charge your cell phone in order for you to contact someone during power failures. It can be charged through a USB, a built-in handcrank mini generator and a built-in solar panel. The radio reception is good but don't expect hi-fi sound. That's not a problem during an emergency because any communication you can manage in and out through your cell phone will be far better than hi-fi. No home should be without one of these and the price makes it affordable to everyone.

I got this for "just in case" and found myself using it to listen to the radio. Its made well and can be charged with via the hand crank, solar or usb..
Kids are getting a real kick out of it as well.

Overall, this is a handy little gadget to have around. It fits easily in my hands, which are on the large size. Radio tuning is very tight, and can take some fiddling to get a lock on your chosen station. Note that this is NOT Bose Wave Radio in sound quality. It lets you tune your local stations to find out what's going on in an emergency situation, which was the point of the design. It picks up my local AM and FMH stations OK, and does a nice job of pulling in my closest NOAA Weather Radio station which is 35 miles away over two sets of hills.
The flashlight is bright! Having the wrist strap is a nice touch also. As for power options, you have three: light through the solar panel on top, cranking the dynamo handle (for a while), or using the micro-b USB connector and enclosed (very short) USB cable. That's one of the things that I don't like about this device - this connection should have been a mini-b one; they are much more common. If I lose the cable, I'll have to really dig around for another one, whereas I have a bunch of the mini-b cables.
The other issue I have is with the phone charging capability of the device. The internal battery carries a VERY small charge, so draining it to your cellphone isn't going to give you much extra juice in your phone. Also, why not just have a full-size USB port on the device for plugging in your phone cable? No, instead we have here a little round plug (like a headphone jack, but not) with another funky connection at the other end, and then finally a port where I can plug my phone's cable. Really?
All told, this is a good thing to have in your emergency kit. Just forget about using it to charge your phone - get a real external battery pack for that.
